The Army Museum tells the history of our proud Western Australian military forces dating back to colonial times through two World Wars and up to Australian involvement in the Afghanistan conflict.
Established in 1977, it is now housed in the heritage-listed Artillery Barracks in Burt St, Fremantle and managed by Defence personnel with the help of a large number of volunteers.
The Museum currently has six established galleries and a display of vehicles and other military hardware.
Guide Helen Birch will take us on a special tour of the Archives not generally open to the public.
