About Affiliate Beverley Museum

The Beverley Historical began in 1977 and in 2017 will celebrate its 40th Anniversary. The Society’s main aims are to record the history of Beverley and District; and to manage the Dead Finish Museum, a local history collection and archive housed in Beverley’s oldest standing building.

Activities of the Society include: responding to requests for historical information from members of the public, mounting historical displays in the Museum and at community events; making field trips to sites of local historical interest and arranging an “Olden Days” experiential program for school students.

The Society has less than 20 members and meets on the second Monday of every month at the Dead Finish. The Museum is open Sundays from March to November and other times on request; admission $2.
