Swan-Guildford Historical Society

The Swan Guildford Historical Society Inc. was formed in 1962 and has become the custodian of a large collection of artefacts, photographs, costumes and textiles, documents, tools and machinery that are representative of the history of Guildford and the Swan Valley. These are housed in our Heritage Precinct, Meadow Street, Guildford, which comprises the Old Colonial Gaol, Taylors cottage and the Courthouse – plus our headquarters Judy Hammersley House (pictured above).
